You Make Bath Time Lots of Fun...

Isaac has decided that he wants to train for the Bath Time Splashing Olympics. He loves sitting in the water & playing, but when the faucet is turned on he turns into a psycho obsessed splashing lunatic. I'll try to get a video of it up sometime soon, but for now here are a couple pictures to sum it up:

Classic Isaac & Slater

There seems to be a bit more jealousy in the house now that Isaac has come alive the past month. He likes to look around, jump, kick, punch, roll, twist, babble...& most of all he likes to smile at Slater while trying to lunge & grab/eat him. Obviously Slater not being the main attraction in the house has been hard for him to get used to. These pictures pretty much sum up Slater's inner emotions & how concerned Isaac is about his feelings.

Guy's Retreat

Just had our Guy's Retreat for Youth Group. Theme for the retreat was "Be A Man". 1 Timothy 6:11-12a: But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Highlights of the retreat were sharing my life with the boys, playing tons of football, & gaining 2 1/2 pounds due to over consumption of meats. Hope all the parents out there realize the urgency & duty to help raise their boys to "Be A Man"... a man that pleases God & honors women, instead of himself.

6 Month Check Up

Height= 27 1/2 inches - 85th %
Weight= 17.2 pounds - 50th %
Head= 17 1/4 centimeters - 50th %

Doctor said he was a perfect little baby. I disagree because he still cries & doesn't always fall asleep when I want him to, but I'll take it. He loves everything about the Doctor's office besides the shots. That is just like his daddy, except I don't like going to the Doctor at all. Praise God for good health & no swine flu!

6 Months & Counting

Isaac is enjoying 2 new things in his life right now: His "Johnny Jumper" & squash (that's a vegetable). The boy is growing up way too quick- eating food, sitting up on his own, & saying "mama" wether he knows what it means or not. He's excited for Turkey Day!

Halloween

Halloween at my parents house was rather cool. We were all the cast of Gilligan's Island. Laurie & I were the old rich couple. Isaac was a monkey...and a cute one at that!
